The New York Times: Park Avenue South: The Other Park Avenue Comes Into Its Own

While its name refers to another storied Manhattan neighborhood, the area known as “Park Avenue South” has come into its own in the last decade. With eateries like Gramercy Tavern and Union Square Cafe in its heart, and neighborhoods like Gramercy Park and Flatiron just blocks away, Park Avenue South is a vital organ in the middle of Manhattan. With an eye toward updating the neighborhood’s historic housing, HFZ Capital Group and Workshop/APD have developed 88 & 90 Lex, a unique combination of two buildings–one from 1927, the other from 1958–into a single collection of new luxury condos. The buildings are home to 120 residences, each with its own unique layout, as well as over 8,000 square feet of shared amenities.
